Brief of resort in ramnager corbett national park ,uttrakhand
holiday resort on approx 6.5 acres of land situated in the buffer /core zone of india’s most famous wild life reserve, the “jim corbett national park in uttarakhand.”
the mighty river kosi ,which originates in the upper reaches of the himalayan mountains flows right through this resort .the resort overlooks the elephant reserve forest and the mountain ranges of both kumaon and garwal.thus making it the most exotic holiday destinations in the whole of uttrakhand. The guests have reported tiger, elephant, wild boar and deer sightings from its river side deck.

the resort is a family owned property, it came into operation in the year 2004 and is promoted by one of the original promoter /owners of the 5 star 66 room deluxe hotel in nainital, uttarakhand.
Location:
- it is 270 km. North from delhi, 70 km. From the hill resort of nainital. The nearest town ram nagar is located approximately 10 km. From the resort. It is located immediately outside the games sanctuary,on the main ramnager ranikhet moter road.the two main park entrance gates are at a distance of app. 5 km. Being located on either side from the resort.
- It is well connected by a good moterable road and train services from delhi and adjourning areas. In addition, all round year pvt. Deluxe bus/ taxi services are available along with the state transport system. By road it takes 5 hrs of comfortable drive form delhi via moradabad and kashipur the nearest railway station from the resort is 10 km at ramnager and the nearest airport pant nagar is situated 40 km. Away.
Land
• the resort is built on approx 6.5 acres of totally landscaped land with sprawling gardens, mango orchard and tiled pathways .it is on the bank of the river kosi facing the elephant reserve and opposite its gate is the core area of the famous tiger reserve.

- there are total of 30 cottages comprising of 50 very spacious rooms in following configuration:
- single storey cottages : 19 cottages comprising of 20 dble rooms, bathrooms and balconies
- double storey cottages : 11 cottages , comprising of 30 rooms /suites, with individual bathrooms, sitting room / balconies.
- The rooms/suites have attached baths and are airy, spacious, with large windows, each with a par anomic view,

Jim corbet national park
the jim corbett national park at the foothills of the himalayas was established in 1936, it is india’s first wild life national park and the first to come under project tiger, spread over 500 square kilometers. It was named the corbett national park in honour of the legendary jim corbett, an english man who spent many years in this area.
Jim corbett national park is famous across the world for its diversity and richness of wildlife. The tourists who visit the park are truly amazed to know that corbett includes over 50 species of mammals with more than 580 species of different kinds of birds. Corbett is really a heaven especially for birdwatchers as there are numerous kinds of bird species available here. There are several other adventure activities to do like angling, mountain biking, parasailing, rock climbing, slithering and several others that one can imagine.
